Client, Brief & Objective
Resourcing Parents Project provides support to young and experienced families, who may need guidance and assistance in bringing up strong families in NSW. Resourcing Parents Strengthening Families, as it was originally known, came to FAQ Interactive with a PHP application that had experienced some complications due to a comprimised WordPress blog. The site was failing to work entrirely and needed further support and development. A number of new developments were required in order to make the simple Event Publishing system more advanced to integrate with Material and Inventory Management systems for Families and Community Services along with Families NSW and Sydney Local Health District.
FACS had a number of separate systems, all process heavy with manual data entry and email confirmations and required a centralised management system to be used. FAQ Interactiv were engaged.
FAQ Development
After various initial developments to the original system, FAQ Interactive identified limitations and restrictions with the original PHP system. We scoped a system to consolidate 3 systems to be integrated into one, and replaced out dated technology with a responsive .NET web application, including multi lingual content management system, real time google translation on dynamic content, user registration, system administration, event submission for registered users, stock inventory, newsletter automation and subscription management
Result/Outcome
Regular monthly activity has allowed ongoing expansion to the system for many areas, with few as important as the comprehensive reporting which further supports justification for increased funding to the project.
